Every number has a source, and we publish it

The course databases that come inside the app are on this site, under the open licence the geometry came from, with a checksum for every file. We looked for another golf app that publishes the geometry it uses, and did not find one.

Is your course missing?

The app lists 23,104 courses in 53 countries — every one OpenStreetMap knows there. If yours cannot be played yet, tap “Request” on it. Allow the notification and it tells you when the course is ready, and opens it.

Some courses come mapped in full: tees, hazards, layups. Others come with the greens: front, centre and back, and your score.

Why 18 Bogeys

Eighteen bogeys is ninety strokes. This is for the golfer who shoots 90: no coach, a couple of rounds a month. You will put one in the water on the 8th and laugh about it. We just tell you how far it was.
